Antique Edwardian 14k white gold filigree ring, with a square Black Onyx Intaglio of a Roman Soldier bezel set. The sides have pretty filigree and etching. Not marked, tested to be 14k and measures a finger size 6.5. Top of the ring measures 17.2 mm tall and it sits up off the finger app. 5.5 mm. The Intaglio is a deep recessed carving of the typical Roman Soldier with helmut and under magnification has some light surface wear; the mounting has crisp details, but also has some light wear in spots, and the bezel is a little uneven on the corner. Otherwise, a nice example of an Edwardian filigree intaglio ring. Weighs 2.7 dwt or 4.19 grams. Please ask questions and see the photos, ships Free.
