Antique Edwardian Silver CHARLES HORNER Charm Repousse Gem Set STAR 1902

This is a lovely and very scarce charm made by the famous English maker Charles Horner. The charm depicts a 10-point star set with a faceted citrine stone. Horner is well-known for his exquisite enameled Art Nouveaulavaliere pendants. Five of the points on the star, and a border around the center stone are embellished with a pattern of repoussé rosettes, that when held to the light, reflect and shimmer in much the same way that marcasites do. It is stamped to the reverse with full hallmarks for Chester, the lion passant, which denotes sterling silver, the date letter 'B' for the year 1902, and the maker's mark C.H, for Charles Horner. It measures 3/4". The charm is in beautiful condition for its age. The star is one of many produced in this series,with a variety of stone settings. These don't surface very often, and are highly collectible.

I accept payments through PayPal due within five days of sale end. Please wait for an invoice before paying for combined purchases.

Shipping Terms

Your vintage / antique charm (s) will be shipped within 24 hours (with the exception of weekends and holidays) of your processed payment. For items totaling $50 or more, insurance will be added free of charge for domestic purchases.

For sales ending on Saturday or Sunday, your charm (s) will be shipped the following Monday. For International purchases up to $50, the shipping charge will be $8.

For international purchases totaling $51 to $100, the shipping charge will be $22.00. This charge includes insurance and registration. For international purchases totaling more than $100, the shipping charge will be $40 for Canadian buyers and $45 for all other international buyers. This Express Mail service will require a signature upon receipt.

Please allow approximately four to six business days for delivery of domestic items. Arkansas residents must pay 6.5%, plus applicable local county tax. International buyers, please bear in mind that you'll be responsible for your country's duty/vat fee. Please reseach the fee before making a purchase. This fee is non-refundable.
