This is a superb quality antique Edwardian hallmarked sterling silver three piece batchelor teaset comprising of a teapot, sugar bowl and jug all hallmarked for Birmingham 1909 with the silversmiths mark for Jones & Crompton. The teapot measures 8 3/4" (22 cms) across including the handle x 4" (10 cms) x 4 3/4" (12 cms) tall to the top of the lid, the jug is 4 1/4" (11 cms) across from handle to tip of spout x 2 1/2" (6 cms) tall to the top of the spout and the sugar bowl is 5 1/2" (14 cms) across x 2 3/4" (7 cms) high to the rim. All three items are in super condition with no dings or dents and any marks you can see are just reflections. They weigh a total of 519.4 grams which gives you an idea of the quality and the teapot holds 1 pint.
