This is a wonderful original Emeralite Lamp by H GMcFaddin & Co. and in about Mint Condition. Just about how it came from the shop. Theclosest to mint that Ihave ever had. The lamp is adjustable to about 13 inches tall on its heavy 7 1/2 inch base. The articulated arm and shade rest can be set to your desired height and angle. The wonderfully sculpted heavy base and support have a great original finish to them and look really nice. The approx. 9 X 5 X 3 1/4 inch shade is in beautiful condition, there is no decal remaining. When you put the lamp together from the shipping container, slide the shade into place from the back to the front to engage the 2 front clips that hold it in place at the front. The lamp has been correctly rewired and works perfectly. The shade support is marked \"Pat. Aug 15, 1916, Emeralite, No. 8734 Type (AG), H.G.Mcfaddin & Co, New York, USA\". And the base of the lamp is marked \"Emeralite 3784 A\". Just a great original lamp for your desk.
