ANTIQUE ENGLISH LATE GEORGIAN PINCHBECK POCKET WATCH KEY FOB CHARM c1830:

An antique English, pinchbeck-type gilt yellow metal watch key fob; with hand chased & repoussé decoration, and an inner steel key tube.

A lovely late Georgian period key...collectable & ideal for wear on a chain too!

CONDITION: All original andgenerally good. Some signs of gilding wear and shallow denting commensurate with age and use. Light distortion to key tube - see pics.

DEFECTS: None.

DATE/MARKS: Around 1830/40, maybe a little older. Not marked.

DIMENSIONS:40 mm long, sorry Idon\'t know the key size (1 inch = 25.4 mm). To give an impression of scale, the coin is 19 mm or ¾ of an inch diameter.

WEIGHT: Approx. 4.5grams.
