Exquisitely carved Gothic figural elements on corners with foliate carved lower turned blocks supporting the legs~~~the back is just as beautiful as the front and sides! Beautiful beveled edge top. A stunning example of the craftsmanship of the era! Heavy, thick barley twist legs and thick lower center stretcher. Wide center desk drawer is hand cut dovetailed construction on front & back of drawer, dating it to the late 19th century.
