Antique English or Continental hard or soft paste porcelain ceramic Worcester style Pearlware coffee pot with ribbed design in the Armorial Lowestoft Famille Rose taste.... with a hairline crack running thru the body. Underglaze blue double VV or W on footed base.I am thinkingPearlware because there is a bluish tint puddling effect to the glaze characteristic of pearlware....or so I have read. I am thinking Worcester because of the mark.Possibly Lowestoft....butif an expert told me this is German I would not bethe least bit surprised.
Antique condition with above noted hairline running thru body. Minor loss to decoration. Lid and finial appear good condition. Measures approximately 6 inches in height. Weighs 263.2 grams.
