English silverplate dome top warmer was made by James Dixon & Sons c.1890\'s. It features beautiful chasing. It measures approx. 14\" across by 7.5\" tall. The dome top opens to reveal a tray for food, an under tray for crumbs and below that is the belly that you would put hot water. the 2 screws on the side remove to remove the domed lid for easy cleaning . (what appears to be bone) button on the lid open tab. The silvering is i9n excellent conditionwith expected wear from use. This needs a proper polish. It is marked on the bottom E.P.
