This antiqueEnglish sterling thimble has a wide band withan applied banner featuring a horseshoe and the words \"GOOD LUCK\".The rim has the Englishsterling hallmarks forBirmingham1893 and the maker\'s mark for James Fenton. It\'s about anAmerican size 6 (14 mm diameter opening).

It\'sin excellent condition,inround with no holes, repairs or other damage. This thimbleis shown on p. 85 (lower right) of Bridget McConnel\'s book The Story of the Thimble.
