This is a 5 x 3 inch bronze plate which features a child with a monkey. Judging from the clothing of the child I\'d say it\'s either Dutch or German, although I\'m not sure. The subject matter is interesting, although I don\'t know what the original purpose of this piece was. I assume that it was up against something as it\'s one-sided. There is a very small post on the bottom, which if I\'d have to guess must have been the way to have affixed this to something, although I don\'t have a clue to what. It\'s an old weird piece.
