Antique, French heavy in weight cast iron black \"Ball in Hand\" Door Knocker, Victorian, original 19th century. It is about 5.5\"-6\" tall without joints, and 2\" wide. Whole part is about 8\" long. Depth is 2\". Very heavy piece, 2 pounds and 3oz. Popular French antique design door striker with ladies right hand decorated with ring and kind of a bracelet. Authentic French, pre-owned, antique, shows signs of age- wear, minimal rust. It comes from old townhouse, historic Georgetown, Washington, DC. Please see all my pictures regarding condition. The knocker is marked with three initial letters K L H. I am not sure, if it is maker or initials of the owner? Please see picture regarding marking. Feel free to ask any additional question.
