Fan appears to be a Polar Cub manufactured by A.C.Gilbert Co. If you know for sure let me know. The fan was my grandmothers and I remember her using it around 1950. It has been boxed and stored since. The fan runs and will need cleaning and lube.The power cord appears to be replaced. There is a chip missing on rear of motor by what assume to be a brush housing. One of the front cage wires is missing. The base and stand is cast iron. and the motor housing is hard cast metal but not magnetic. I don\'t see any markings other than on the brass fan guard button. I believe there had been a metal ID tag on top at one time.I have looked for info. but have not found any showing this fan. Pictures of similar looking fans have led me to conclude it is a Polar Cub.
