Never be put off with Insurance claims. If your item arrives broken:

1. Contact us here at Lafayette Resale right away. We will require photos of the box it arrived in, the packing materials, and the broken item. Once we have received the photos Lafayette Resale will refund your entire amount including shipping money.
2. If your package has not arrived in 9 days, please contact Lafayette Resale and we will file a case with USPS for a lost package. Lafayette Resale will issue a refund on the 15th day after the form was filed including shipping cost.
3. If a refund has been given and you receive the item, A payment to Lafayette Resale will be expected. Lafayette Resale will send a request for money. If payment is not sent in 3 days, Lafayette Resale will contact with this issue.

How We Calculate Shipping Expenses:

We use Calculated Shipping on most of our shipments for Domestic and International Shipments. If an order has a lot of weight to it and it is more economical to ship an item or multiple items to you via a Flat Rate option, we will inform you of your choices when we invoice you. You will have the option to select your choice of shipping methods that we offer. If you have overpaid us on shipping charges, we most likely have already refunded you the difference. We are one of the few sellers on that credit you on shipping expense overpayments. We do this automatically when we ship to you.

Handling & Packaging Charges:

We do charge Handling and Packaging Charges, and they are automatically added to the Shipping Expense. We do not have a standard fee for Handling and Packaging Charges as every item is different. Some Items we do not charge a fee at all, others require extensive wrapping, and packaging which uses more bubble wrap, tissue paper, packaging paper and packing peanuts which can get quite expensive. We do purchase all of our packing materials at wholesale prices in bulk in order to save you more money.

RETURNS & REFUNDS:

Please remember that is an sale format; therefore, Returns and Refunds will only be allowed if we grossly overlooked a defect or an imperfection on an item. Buyer\'s remorse is NOT acceptable! Returned items should be insured.

Lost Package, or Package Never Arrived?

If your package has not arrived in 9 days, and the Tracking Information is at a stand still, Please contact us here at Lafayette Resale and we will file a Lost Item case with USPS or Federal Express for a lost package. Lafayette Resale will issue a refund on the 15th day after the form was filed with the appropriate shipping service, including the shipping cost.

We have been in the Antique Business for the past 35 Years, We have offered our appraisal advise to Shroeders Antique Guide, Once owning an Gothic Mansion which was an Antique Museum in Williamsport, Indiana, we have lent many antique pieces to Schroeders in order to display them in their Antique Apprasial Guides. Some of our Antique?s have been rented and put in Movies. We specialize in Antiques and Vintage Items, but we also sell unique new merchandise, Wholesale Merchandise, and we are responsible for pulling Jewelry off major Department Store Shelves and offering all to you at reduced prices.

We purchase our items from sales, and also run Estate Sales in the Tri State Area of Indiana, Illinois and Wisconsin, Otherwise Known as Estate Sale Deals and some of our customers come to us to sell their items. We will do a quick cosmetic clean on your item but final cleaning will be left up to you. We do our best to describe our items in full detail, with plenty of pictures for a visual description. Our handling fee differs for each item as some items may require a lot more time and packing materials to ensure a safe delivery to you. Fragile Items are usually wrapped in Tissue or Packing Paper, Bubble Wrapped, Layered with Cardboard or Double Boxed and then laid in packing peanuts to help ensure a safe delivery of your item to you.
