For sale an original antique folk art pencil drawing dating c.1830/40 of two men possibly miner\'s/collier\'s having a good old jig with musicians in the background & surrounded by numerous other people & animals.Bottom reads (first part hard to make out) & \"Drawn by Henry - on the spot\".Reverse has a small antique pencil drawing dating c.1830/40 of two figures on a donkey with \"CR\" initials.I have no idea who Henry was butI have taken this page out of an old album which had many paintings & drawing\'s by Christina Robertson.Christina Robertson (1796-1854) important Scottish born female artist who became a Russian court painter who was the first female honorary member of the Royal Scottish Academy.I have listed other very interesting works from this album on my site this week.Please see photo\'s.Drawing measures 8.25 x 6 inches approx & Album page measures 9.25 x 7.5 inches approx.Thank you for looking on my site.Postage discounts given for joint purchases.
