Magnificent antique inlaid plaque of a hunting setter dog ...The detail on this is astounding. I couldn\'t imagine the time and patience this took to create.Unfortunately this is was never signed or dated so this could be a mystery as to when where and how this as made.The construction of this leads me to believe it was made before 1900. The old wire on the reverse and brass or other metal fits that slide up into the hunting dog artwork. The craftsmanship here can greatly be seen by the detail in the rabbits, fish and fishing equipment on the frame.Unfortunately one piece of the wood has broken off but that is shown in the photos and measures less then 1cm in length.The entire frame measures 10.5\" x 8.5\".The inner inlaid dog artwork measures 5 3/4\" x 3 7/8\"...
