This is an antique Fostoria American Creamer and Sugar set.
It has the classic style #2056 pattern
The creamer pitcher measures 2 3/4\" h , 2 3/4\" at the opening from the tip of the pour spout to the outer edge of the opening and 3 1/2\" including the handle.
The sugar cup measures approx 2 1/2\" h to the top of the handle, the opening measures 2 1/2\" and approx. 4\" across including the handles.This is authentic Fostoria as it is made from a three part mold.
This is highly polished, crystal clear and silky to the touch.A little history:
In 1887, L. B. Martin and W. S. Brady founded the Fostoria Glass Company in Fostoria, Ohio. When the area’s natural gas deposits ran out, Fostoria moved to Wheeling, West Virginia, and then to Moundsville, West Virginia, in 1891, where it remained until it closed in 1983.
