Up for sale is an antique sterling silver butter/spread knife by Frank M. Whiting Co.. The spreader is in the Wheat Engraved pattern, circa 1885. The knife is in very good condition with a couple oxidation spots on the blade. It is 7 3/8\" long and was possibly used for something different than spreading butter. There is an engraving on the back of the handle dating Feb.22.1893. Very rare collectible Frank M. Whiting knife. Good luck with your offerding.
