For your consideration is this beautiful late 17th century to early 18th century French wood console or wood support depicting a head of a cherub, angel or the like. It has been crafted in walnut and is all hand carved.The beautiful angels head or cherub has four wings and was formally used to hold a religious ornament or statue.
Condition: overall very good:pitting, wear,checks within the wood all commensurate with age. Dimensions:9.5\" (total height) x 9 3/4 \"widex6 \"(depth of the shelf).
