Rare set - in original red leather, silk lined fitted presentation box. Each Server with extra long better than sterling silver handles, (assume weighted) Rare, ornate renaissance rococo pattern with dolphins, scrolls, masks and un-engraved cartouches - each measures approx 11.25 inches long and together weigh 4.7 ounces - fully hallmarked with the Minerva 1 mark for a fineness of 950/1000 silver and makers mark - assume Emile Huignand - as this is known as his pattern - c1880. The silver has a few wrinkles, not no loss, cracks or repairs - all original - the translucent ox horn spoon and fork are crazed and have suffered some drying with age and a few nibbles of loss.
