Where to begin? First of all, let me tell you that even though you see her in pieces, her mechanics have been professionally restored and is now put back togetherand totally operational.Circa 1882...The most important things, well, they are all important, but her bisque is beautiful.Standing approximately 15\" tall,she is free from any damage, cracks, breaks, hairlines,Lovelyfixed glass eyes, open mouth with teeth, pierced ears. The head is not marked, but the interior is, marked JSteiner- Paris. For a Steiner automaton gigatour, this is the mark. One of herarms has been replaced,the replaced arm has been shaped and painted/tinted to match the patina on the original arm. Her arms, legs and head all are movable. The leather on her middle had to be replaced, it was just completely weathered, the twine binding for her legs have also been replaced.She is wearing a very vintage dress and bonnet, original to her, I do not know, but very vintage, replaced shoes and socks,her bloomersare replaced and are sewn over her new leather leg coverings, but you can see the new legs in the shown in the nude shots.Her bloomers are not completely matching to the dress but close with vintage fabric and lace.
