This elegant,high quality antiquepolished bronze and marbleclock is from France and it dates to the mid/late 1800\'s. This is a superior quality bronze clock in very good antique condition. The polished bronze figuresare nicely patinated with 100+ years of gentle use and we guarantee that they are solid bronze, not spelter or some other base metal. The8 day time and strike works are very clean, complete and run well. The clock chime strikes once on the half-hour and tolls the hours on a pleasant sounding bell chime. Overall this clock is in very good antique condition with the following issues: (1) the back door glass is missing; (2) there are a few very small chips on the marble edges (see photos). Dimensions: 14\" tall, 17.5\" wide,7\" deep. (1941)
