Another lovely antique wall shelf, with a majestic dimensionalcarved lion center, surrounded by carved French gadrooning across the entirefront~

~Top shelf has a raised gallery edge, with plenty of roomfor displaying plates and framed prints!~

A BIT OF HISTORY~~In France, England, Belgium and acrossEurope, these shelves were originally used as a “kitchen shelf” with copperpots and pans being hung from the hooks. In today’s home or office,decorators are using these statement pieces in ANY room, with collectibles orhome décor on the top shelf, perhaps towel storage in a guest bathroom, as afoyer or hall piece with coats and canes hung on the hooks….ENDLESSPOSSIBILITIES!!

Measurements:

8” height x 40” x 5.5”.

Hanging hooks extend another 1.5” above the height given above.
