I recently found this antique French doll at the local estate of a 95 years old doll collector/maker. She was made in Paris, France in the 1920\'s. Her head is made of Papier-mâché and is a socket type. She has stationary brown sleep eyes, an black synthetic wig with her original silk rosette headband and an open mouth with teeth. Her eyebrows are molded in the papier mache and hand painted gray and the head is marked \"30 Paris Unis France 13\" on the back. She has a jointed composition toddler body.Her dress is from the 1920\'s/30\'s but is not original to the doll. It is made of white cotton and printed with purple and yellow flowers with a white Peter Pan collar. She has white knit socks and black vinyl baby shoes: both from the 1960\'s and not original to the doll.

She stands 24\" tall. Condition: I don\'t think her arms are original. They are very short and out of proportion to the rest of the body. There are chips and cracks on the body, especially at the joints. There are chips in the paint of the papier-mache head, especially at the socket where it has rubbed on the body. There is some minor staining and discoloration on her face. The socks are browned. The shoes are too small.
