I found this absolutely stunning antique compact during my visit to France last week. The double-sided compact has enamel and 3 red stones on either side. Each side has a beveled mirror held in by prongs. Each side has a powder puff; both appear to be unused/clean. Each side is hinged. The detail is exquisite; there are raised dots surrounding the large, center stones. The compact is marked, \"Made in France\". It has a loop affixed. The compact measures 2.5\" x 2\" x 1.25\". Wonderful condition; tiny green patina/dark mark noted.
