Antique French 19th century Empire style toothbrush dish with the Napoleonic emblem of bees.
8\" x 3.1\", almost 3\" high.
The dish has a cornflower blue decoration of bees with swagged floral edge to lid.
This stamp was used by the manufacture \"faienceries de Creil & Montereau\" whose registered name was Lebeuf, Milliet & Cie (L.M et Cie) - 1840 until 1876.
There is an extremely fine hairline crack barely visible except in the close ups.485g
