This gorgeousantique Louis Philippe period clock is made in France around 1840.

Clock caseis surmounted by gilt bronze statue of Noble lady playing mandolin.

Lady is beautifullydressed. She has a feather in her hair.

Thefeet’s of the lady are on a chair. On the right flanked with a music book.

Base is richlyornate with flower baskets, putti head, lion heads and birds.

Allgilding is in good original condition due to the age.

Engravedsilvered dial with Roman numerals is in good condition. Dial is signed: C.F.Petita Paris.

French movementis with silk suspension and in working condition striking on the silveredbronze bell at 1/1 and ½ hours.

Key andpendulum included.
