Antique Victorian glorious table cover in rich plum purple heavy velvet fabric with French gold twisted bullion fringe. The truer color appears in the firstpicture, not as deep purple as the second picture.

The cover measures 58 by 62 inches without the 3 inch long bullion fringe. With the fringe it is approximately 61 by 65 inches.

The table cover dates to the 1880\'s time period. Looks like it belonged to Royalty because of the rich colors. The backside is finished with a heavy silky type of fabric which is original to the piece.

In very good Antique condition. The bullion is lush and long and there may be a couple missing but there are so many of them that it is hard to detect. There is about 6 3/4 yards just of the gold bullion. The velvet has wear here and there but to me it just adds to the charm and time worn beauty of this piece. On the underside there is a water like mark but does not go through to the front. I have not cleaned this and would not know how to do it so I\'ll leave this to the new owner if you decide to do anything with it. A rather heavy piece but should fit in a large flat rate box. Sold as is, as found.
