Large paisley/cashmere (boteh) motifs of pale turquoise, beige and mauve on top and a small blue Vichy check on the reverse side.
The edges have worn (cotton binding could be sewn around the edges to preserve).
Underneath this antique cover is the even older original madder dyed fabric peeping through.
An old quilt with some holes, wearing and slight fading in the centre on paisley side.
Pure wool batting which is still fairly evenly spread, except where the quilting stitches have undone.
Hand washed and sun-dried.2400g
