Offered is this beautiful antique Lanternier Limoges tray.
Beautifully molded and scalloped, this hand painted platter is signed on the bottom by the artist and bears the Lanternier mark #4, underglaze white ware mark in green with anchor and "LIMOGES, FRANCE" circa 1891-1914.
The artist hand painted it with their idea of strawberries or some sort of puffy pink flowers and green leaves, the rim is painted in gold, just beautiful.
It measures 12.25 inches long and 5.75 inches wide and stands 2 inches tall.
It is in excellent condition for its great age, it has a small back edge flake and a small ageline as seen in last photo. These are not really seen and are mentioned only for accuracy.
