Difficult to find in a larger size (most are the size of a pillbox) but here\'s a generously sized beautiful antique French hinges wooden box inland with mother of pearl tiles--all tiles are intact, with none missing.

Interior is carefully lined with blue silk. the silk is quite clean and well preserved.

\"Le Havre\" handwritten in gorgeous script over the front of the box. Le Havre was a bustling harbor town in the Normandy region of France, a popular destination for wealthy travelers able to afford overseas travel beginning at the turn of the twentieth century who then brought back souvenirs such as this box to show (and show-off to!) their relatives and friends.

It is in good condition commensurate with age with a teeny chip on one corner as you can see on photo.

It measures L10.5cmxW5.7cmxH4.5cm.
