Up for sale is this Antique J.E. Caldwell French Repeating Brass Carriage Clock.
This clock is in Good working condition.
I wound the clock up and it keeps good time.
The clock strikes a gong on the half hour and counts the hours on the hour as it should.
The clock is in Good cosmetic condition.
The clock has a porcelain dial.
The porcelain is great with no chips, cracks or breaks.
The dial of the clock has black colored numbers and hands.
On the bottom of the dial it is marked - “J.E. Caldwell & Co.”
The clock has its original beveled glass on each side of the clock.
There are no cracks, chips or breaks in the glass covers.
The clock will need to have the handle re-attached as it has come off. This should be a minor fix.
The clock\'s movement was made in France.
On the movement it is marked - “Hands, J.E Caldwell & Co., Philadelphia, Made in France”
The clock does come with a key.
The clock measures approx. - 5 1/4” tall by 3 5/8” wide
