Thislovely sewing set dates from around 1890 and is marked with the boar\'shead denoting French 800 grade silver after 1838. It comes ina gorgeous *faux*bone case which is fitted for each tool and lined insilk and velvet. The case
is in excellent condition with no cracks orother damage and has a fancy monogram on the top. The push button catch
works well but can be quite stiff to undo.

The tools are also in excellent condition and comprise a needle case,scissors and stiletto which are all matching
and original. The thimble and little bodkin are replacements but fitwell. The scissors are sharp and cut well.
