Here\'s a very cute little antique clock, measuring 4 3/4\" tall, 3 3/8\" wide, 2\" deep. Enamel face stamped 8 JOURS, bottom of marble stamped VERNI BRONZE. The hands are set by twirling the little stem that sticks through the hole in the back plate. But when you slip off the plate, the clock can be wound by gently moving the mechanism around. I suspect there was originally some kind of key that was used for winding. I do not have that. The clock is running and keeping time.
