~One of the most beautiful gown\'s I\'ve seen ~ this stunning textile is made from a beautiful, light weight muslin. Lace is not my area ofspecialty, so I\'m not exactly sure what to call the stunning decorative detail at the neck ? This textile would have taken ages to made! 100% hand stitched , all of the smocking, tiny tiny tiny stitches ~ The detail of this gown isoutrageous ~*~ 19th century, but I\'m afraid I\'m not able to narrow it down anymore than this..anyone out there able to help ? ~ The tone of the muslin is that beautiful, aged off-white ~*~(gown 47)
MEASUREMENTS :This beautiful textile measures : 44 inches long , 25 inch waist, 13 inch shoulders, 18 inch sleeves ~ CONDITION :This piece is freshly laundered. There are some tiny holes and some storage marks on this textile. Stunning condition for it\'s age, but certainly not without the signs of time and use that are inherent in these gorgeous textiles ~*~
