Antique Fully Jointed Mohair Teddy BearThis teddy bear measures approximately 16 inches tall.He is in good condition considering his age.His fur is worn in areas and he has two small holes on his nose.The black thread on one of his paws is partly missing.This bear does have a growler but it is not in working condition.He has light blond mohair fur with black shoe button eyes.I believe that all four of the brown felt pads have been replaced at some time and are attached withprimitivestitching.There are no makers marks on this bear however there is a spot on his right ear (as you look at it) that has broken threads that could be where a Steiff button once was (see last photo).I believe that this bear dates to the early 1900\'s.This bear was obviously well loved by someone and is now looking for a new home.Please see photos as they are part of the description.
