Bisque Porcelain figurine byCarl Schneiders Erben of Germany is approximately 130 years old, minted between the years 1879 and 1886. It depicts a boy and a girl. The boy is in the process of hitting a pair of pliers on an anvil with a hammer (both finished in a sparkly chrome finish). He must have hit it pretty hard, because one of the pliers\' jaws is broken off. That is the one visible piece of damage to the piece. The other is a chip to the underside lip which is not seen unless the piece is flipped over and is a very minor bit of damage (if only we all looked this good after 130 years!) The girl is holding a bundle of flowers, perhaps from her little blacksmith friend here.
Antique German stamp on the back reads 8204 G DEP. It is the identification of this particular stamp style which pinpoints the era of production.10.5\"H x 6\"W x 3\"D
