This is by no stretchof the imagination this is the most stunning fretwork clock I have ever comeacross……

this clock has a definiteBlack Forest feel going for it. Its Simply Stunning!

Handmade circa1800’s this clocks principle woods are a combination of

Rosewood and Bird’s Eye Maple

The finishis original with a true old honest patina

The two woods combined together with the lighter tone bird’s eye mapleoverlapping the darker rosewood beneath gives a sense of depth

whichautomatically draws ones eye to its outrageously busy design / enoughsaid. As you can probably tell, I likethis clock

Bench Made; each pierced design was painstakingly hand cut by an extremelyskilled woodworker

The movement is akey wind ( no key with this purchase ) and is the one that started life in this case

One can clearly see the original mountingblocks still in place from the top view down into the case as seen in myphoto

The main spring winds and thebalance spring does work correctly and is not broken although this clock willnot stay running

for long and will need a oiling or light cleaning in order torun properly….

As in all clocks I sell this clock is being sold as is but it shouldbe a good time keeper if one extends the effort

CONDITION:The case of this clock has a very fine and detailed Gothicelements.

I’m going to claim that it isin as near to being in pristine condition as anything can get……

I looked hardand could not see any damage what so ever. I will defer to my photographs as a cameralens is always accurate

This case isvery busy and I could have missed something, but I doubt it

4-1/4” Deep including clocks bezel

Approx. Weight: 2.6Lbs.

This will take extra time in packing as it will be extremelydifficultto pack properly....
