This antique marble solitaire game was purchased from an old Maine estate. The board was hand made of solid walnut, and due to natural shrinkage of the wood, it is no longer perfectly round, measuring 9.5\" diameter one way, and 10\" the other. It has three rounded wooden feet, drilled holes and a circular channel for marbles. It\'s in excellent condition with a beautiful aged finish. The marbles which came included with the board are all glass except for 6 that I think are made of plastic. Those 6 marbles are pictured separately (last photo) and are not in the group of marbles pictured on the game board. Not all of the glass marbles are the same size, but most are small with faintly \"marbled\" surfaces. There are two slightly larger, clear ones with bubbles and swirls of color within them. Six of the glass marbles that appear black are actually very dark blue or green. These are shown in a photo with two opaque black marbles. All together 59 marbles are included, including the six that may be plastic. Some of the glass marbles have small chips.
