Antique Georg Neeff Serving Dish Fine Block Tin of Germany 1782 GUC

If you could say that this is somewhat of a special serving dish or plate then you have said more words than could be imagined. The name Neeff does come from Germany and fine tin was a popular item to form many items; Francis Xavier Messer Schmidt’s work was with thin alloy in his fine arts sculptures from the 1770 until 1783. Even though this has nothing to do with what is being listed it does show that the material used was part of the decade, century and time period.
