Antique Georgian 14K Gold Five Pearl Ring Stacking Anniversary Size 6.5:

This is a lovely, antique, gold and pearl Georgian ring. This ring caught my eye because of the gorgeous pearls. The face of the ring has five, pearls in a closed back setting. The face of the ring measures approximately 3/4\" wide and the pearls are graduated with the largest in the center having roughly a 4mm diameter. There is a very subtle scroll-type design on the shoulders and some gold beading in the setting. If you look at the ring from the top, you will notice it has a u-shaped band which was common during the period and also allows for the wider pearl set face. The ring is not marked but tests for at least 14K gold. This is a very versatile piece that can be worn on its own or for stacking. The size is currently a 6.5, but it can be resized. It\'s offered in good, antique condition with wear in keeping with age. The center pearl has some (natural?) texture to it which I\'ve shown in the highly magnified photos and there is one pearl on one end that may be a replacement as I can see that it\'s been glued in with my loupe. However, these issues are mainly only noticeable with magnification. Date estimate: Early 1800s. Origin: Georgian England.
