Antique Georgian 18ct Gold Flower Wreath Ring w/ Foiled Purple Amethysts Size MA stunning gold ring featuring a Georgian era detailed flower and foiled amethyst design

The top of this ring depicts a stunning flower wreath design, set with one larger central amethyst and 6 smaller amethysts in the border, spaced between the flowers. The amethysts are in a close back setting and seem to \'glow\' which indicates that are likely foil backed - typical of the Georgian era. Foiling stones was done to enhance how beautiful they looked in candlelight.The amethysts have been tested and verified as genuine with a Presidium Gemstone Tester.

The whole face of the ring measures 1.7 x 1.4 cms. The central amethyst measures 8 x 5.5 mms.

The back of the ring is closed,it looks like it might have previously been a pin - the ring band is more modern and has been added at a later date.

The band is not hallmarked but positively tests as 18ct gold. The ring topper is also not marked, but also tests as solid gold of around 9-12ct.

Size M (A small to medium finger size).US size 6. Weighs 3.6 grams

In good antique condition. The amethysts are very good with little wear. One of the tiny flowers is missing a petals. There are a few tiny claws missing from the setting s but the stones are all secure in place. There are marks on the back of the topper where the original brooch pin was filed away so it could be made into a ring

For UK customers items under £50 will be sent 1st Class recorded Delivery, items over £50 will be sent Next Day Special Delivery

For overseas customers all items are sent by Royal Mail International Tracked and Signed For, fully insured.

A tracking number is obtained for every order.

If you are an overseas buyer who buys multiple items you can request an invoice from us and we will combine postage for you.

If you wish to return an item for an reason, please do not open an case against us, we will process your refund and ensure you have the correct return address much quicker if you simply send us a message to inform us that you wish to return the item. All goods much be returned in the condition the were sent, with original packaging. Return postage will only be paid if the item has been mis-described. Please send the item back via the method used to send it to you (Royal Mail Signed For 1st Class or Next Day Special Delivery)

We cannot accept liability for goods that go missing or are damaged in transit. We will of course, assist you the best we can, and provide you with all the information you need to make a claim for your missing item with Royal Mail.

Damaged goods in the post must be reported to Dear Rose, With Love within 24 hours of arrival of the goods (within 24 hours of your signature for the parcel). After this time we cannot accept responsibility for damage reported. If your item is damaged please send a photograph to us with your initial email, including a photograph of packaging if you believe the item to have been damaged in the post to help us with a Royal Mail claim. If you notice damage to the parcel prior to signing for it, then please do not sign for it and have it redirected back to us by the return address on the parcel.
