Beautiful very, very old antique amulet depicting the Buddhist Thai Monk LP Tuad. It is composed of a wonderfully hand worked bronze statue of the Monk inside a solid 18K yellow gold enclosure. The gold isexquisitely hand engraved on its entire surface even its base. The amulet measures not counting its dangle gold bail 1 1/4\" X 3/4\" and weighs a substantial 19.8 grams. LP Tuad is believed to have been born in 1588. He is one of the most beloved of all Buddhist Monks and is said to have great protective powers granting safety in times of distress. This antique amulet probably dates from the 1700\'s. It isreally old and a true treasure. Excellent original antique condition. FREE SHIPPING IN USA.
