DOUBLE DROP STERLING SILVER

These fabulous double drop earrings are set in Sterling Silverwith lovely Paste stones.

Circa 1800.

Beautiful old cushion cut Paste stones

adorn these lovely earrings.

Paste is a heavy, very transparent flint glass that stimulates

the fireand brillianceof gemstones, the Romans in particular

werevery skilful in the productionof coloured glass Pastes.

A beautiful pair which was purchased in London,

steeped in English history.

The earrings weigh3 grams.

They measure 22mm in length.

The largest Paste stone measures

7mm across x 7mm down.

Excellent condition all round.
