A wonderful antique Georgian English, solid 15 carat gold (tests) double-sided locket. Beautifully made, with snake-type bezel andboth its original beveled glasses, it contains two superb hand painted portraits of a period couple. Access is easy through a hinged door, and it comes complete with its original textured bale ring.It dates fromthe early 1800\'sand isinexcellent, fully wearablecondition throughout, with no loss or damage. It weighs6.5grams and measures1 x ¾ of aninch, excluding its rings. The final photo shows it with a US penny (1 cent) coinfor scale, which measures19mm/ ¾ of an inchdiameter.
