Antique Georgian mourning seed Pearl gold lace brooch:

Pretty little thing, the pearls set in a cluster around circular glazed compartment. All are original, probably from Scottish fresh waters.

There are no marks on this brooch, which is common for small earlier pieces, a lot of them were exempt from hallmarking due to light weight.

Good antique condition, small opening to the side, possibly a result of an earlier conversion from a clasp or other small item. The pin fittings also a later addition and made in another media. This fact is taken into account and reflected in the price.
