This fabulous Georgian Silver and 18ct Rose Gold Paste necklace is Circa 1770.
Due to its age, Georgian jewellery is quite rare, with some pieces almost threehundred
years old. From 1714 until 1837 four King Georges and a short-livedWilliam gave
rise to this extended period, spanning many fashions that are reflected in these
stunning pieces of Georgian jewellery.
This beautiful necklace is adorned with white Paste Stones with a larger
Paste crowning the clasp.
Paste is a heavy, very transparent flint glass that simulates the fire and brilliance
of gemstones. They sparkle just like Diamonds, captivatingthe allure
of natures beauty.
Each Paste Stone is foil backed with an 18ct Gold back and Silver front creating
a flash of gold through each stone.
This 18th Century necklace is all original and complete.
Looks stunning when worn, a highly collectable necklace which is
steeped in English history.

Measures 15 inches around the neck.
