Georgian hat/ stick pinA fine solid sterling silver topped double pronged hat pin/ stick pin or brooch. It is set with the most beautiful sparkling gemstones, believed to be faceted Rock Crystal. They are in closed back settings of solid silver. There is a loop, possibly for a further pendant or safety chain and 2 prongs for affixing. The silver has been tested for sterling. The prongs are not silver. This is an original Georgian item. Measures approx 9.2cm long x 2.5cm. Weighs approx 8.4 grams.In good condition, may show some wear consistent with age.
