A 13mm by 9mm central foiled amethyst is flanked by two foiled Citrines, set in a cut down setting that is typical of the early Victorian style. Due to the age of the ring, the foiling does show signs of wear and tear. Two strengthening panels can be seen under both seashell shoulders, and evidence of sizing can be seen on the bottom of the shank.
