Item details: An Excellent Quality George IIIsilver lidded Tankard. The tankard is made in the rare assay office ofSheffield in 1789 by the collectable silversmith George ash forth & Co. Thetankard is made from a quality thick gauge of silver as expected from themaker. The tankard has a very attractive but simple embossed design with a veryattractive central armorial, both tankard and lid have matching hallmarks.Overall an impressive and show stopping item to add to your collection.

Condition: The condition of the item is verygood, just expected wear lid open and shuts for a nice tight finish, the bottomhas a very minor little din apart from that very good condition and a perfectaddition to your collection.
