Description:
A rewired antique Made in Bavaria German Gisun opaline glass shade with aBakeliteshade holder and ceiling canopy. from around the 1920-1930\'s.The milk white and pink glass has a typical Art Deco time decorated flower design in blue, green and yellow.The shade holder and ceiling canopy are made of a dark brownBakelite. It has this typical strongBakelitesmell when wet.The shade has its original shop orfactorysticker and the Bakelite has a trademark \'HP\' and \'Made in Bavaria\', and numerous parts number marks.The very old cloth covered wiring (see last picture) has been replaced by similar antique style new wiring in a wine red color.
Size:The length as shown, from the ceiling to the bottom of the glass is 28 inch (71 cm); the extra wiring hidden in the canopy allows to the desired length, the total length is up to 44 inch (110 cm).The width of the glass is 10 inch (25 cm)
Condition:In an excellent, rewired and clean condition. Due to its age theBakelitelost some of its shine and has a good patina as to be expected for its age.As always, it is advised to have it checked by a qualified electrician after shipment.It can be used both in Europe and the USA.It requires 1 bulb size E-27 (not included).
